Hamster Wheel Exit

For you who never quite felt made for a 9-to-5

Practical experiments in building online income and freedom.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in the hamster wheel, you’re not alone.

I’m Rickard — building my way out and documenting everything.

Here you’ll find tools, ideas, and lessons tested through real online projects — from digital products and print-on-demand to affiliate marketing, smart AI tools, and more.

The goal?

More time.
More freedom.
A life you actually own.

No spam. No hype. Just real experiments, lessons, and results from the ExitLab.

How I'm Building my exit from the Hamster Wheel

No experts, no shortcuts – just clarity, honesty, and experiments that fit a busy life.

The ExitLab's First Project:

Print On Demand

For decades, I’ve had t-shirt designs living rent-free in my head.

Sketches, concepts, and several questionable attempts to express my dark, weird humor — part punk, part social critique, but still somehow optimistic, and always with a big, stubborn heart.

None of them made it past “someday”, of course.

(And maybe they never should. But who cares? I’ve got steam to blow off, and turning those questionable ideas into t-shirts is cheaper than therapy;)

Well… turns out “someday” finally showed up.

This first ExitLab project is me finally giving print-on-demand a real shot.

Maybe I’m late to the party and the market’s already saturated.

Or maybe — just maybe — a bit of my infamous stubbornness can cut through all that noise.

We’ll see.

Measuring time and building something long-term – Money vs Time

Rich in Money, Poor in Time

Money vs Time is a trade most people don’t think about until later in life — when they suddenly realize they have plenty of one, but not enough of the other.

Built For Time

After a few months of writing, publishing and working on Hamster Wheel Exit, I’m starting to realize something about the time aspect of all this...
